Great small portable games

I'm a user and a big fan of portable apps. Just putting all the useful stuff on a thumb drive an having it everywhere you go is incredible. Between the useful programs, I have on the thumb drive I have also some great games. I sometimes kill time by playing the coolest and smallest games ever made. Being portable makes them more appealing. You don't need to be connected to the internet to enjoy all of the below games presented. You just need to have a thumb drive (nothing fancy).

One of my favorite games, tycoon style, was Transport Tycoon Deluxe. It is a city transport simulator, in which you have buses, trucks, trains, planes, helicopters, and ships to transport passengers and cargo. Now I play Open TTD, an open source tycoon transport game that is based on the original Transport Tycoon Deluxe, with a few improvements. The graphics and the gameplay are the same as the original. Playing with trains is just pure fun even today, so give it a try.
The game starts, making you the owner of a transport company in the year 1950. As the time passes new technologies appear.

Atomic Tanks is another great classic game. Similar to the more known Worms, you have a few tanks scattered on a 2D battlefield. The goal is to destroy enemy tanks with a variety of weapons. The graphic is "old" but the fun is still present. Best played among friends.

Also, try Hedgewars. It is another similar game but more Worms like. Hedgewars is available for Windows, Mac, Linux.

If you have the rock star in you, try Frets of fire. You can play awesome guitar on the pc keyboard. It is cross platform: Windows, Mac, Linux.
You can download a lot of tracks and play them on three difficulty levels.

If you want to keep your brain fresh you might want to try 2048 or Sudoku.
2048 is a tile game in which you have to unite same number tiles to reach 2048. It is harder then it seems.

Sudoku does not need any introduction.
